Safari itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival!
Tanzania luxury safari experience, we make sure that you will be met at the airport upon your arrival by one our Zazu Tanzania Safaris staff and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

Meals: Breakfast, Packed lunch, and Dinner
Activities: Free time at the hotel preparing for safari the next day
Day 2: Arusha – Serengeti National Park. (By charter flight)
Only this special Tanzania luxury package will take you to the famous Serengeti by flight!
So, today after breakfast, drive from the lodge to Arusha Airport and fly to Serengeti National park on a small chartered flight. Departs around 11:30 am meet with your driver guide and continue with the game drive. The Serengeti National park covers 14,763 km² (5,700 square miles) of grassland plains and savannah as well as river trine forest and woodlands. The park lies in the north of the country, bordered to the north by the Tanzania and Kenyan national border, where it is continuous with the Maasai Mara National Park reserve.

Day 3: Enjoy a Fully Day of Your Luxury Safari in Serengeti
Early morning game drive in the Seronera area searching for active animals in kopjes, especially the big prides of lions, before a brief breakfast. We then continue for a full day game tour in this central area of Serengeti Park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Camp.

Activities: Approx. Full day game viewing in Serengeti.
Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti.
Spend another full day of your luxury safari in Serengeti where you have the choice of morning and afternoon game drives or a full day with packed lunches. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Camp. (This morning you can have a Hot Air Balloon flight over the Serengeti at extra cost.)

Activities: Full day with game viewing in Serengeti.
Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
After breakfast, enjoy the last-minute morning game viewing before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On your way to Ngorongoro you have a chance to stop at the Maasai Boma (Maasai traditional houses) to learn about their unique African culture. Later proceed to your lodge located at the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Activities: Game en route to Ngorongoro.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Eileen’s Trees Inn
After breakfast, descend into the crater floor for a game viewing drive with picnic lunch in the Crater. This protected area is located in the Great Rift Valley and is also known as the eighth wonder of the world, indeed this will be one of the highlights of your Tanzania luxury safari excursion.
Ngorongoro Crater has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa; 30,000 animals make their home in this crater, making it an ideal place for sightings of the ‘Big Five’ – lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard.
After a great day of exploration in the crater, the driver will take you to the lodge which is located in Karatu Area (a small town between Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara National Park). Dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn (FB).

Activities: Ngorongoro Crater and transfer to the hotel
Day 7: Eileen’s Tree Inn – Tarangire National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, depart to Tarangire National park with packed lunch. The drive time from the hotel to Tarangire is about 1 hour, upon arrival check in at the gate and start the game drive. The lunch box will be served at the picnic site inside the park where you will enjoy your picnic lunch while viewing the wildlife around the picnic site.
After lunch, continue with the game viewing for the rest of the afternoon. Later in the evening, head to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge (FB).
The common animals to be spotted in Tarangire are buffaloes, big herds of elephants, different species of antelopes, wildebeest, giraffes, monkeys, lions, cheetahs, and more.

Activities: Full day with game viewing in Tarangire.
Day 8: Tarangire – Arusha / Airport
Enjoy the last minute morning game drive of your Tanzania luxury safari in Tarangire before heading back to Arusha. The distance from Tarangire to Arusha is about 2 hours drive. Dinner and overnight at Ilboru Safari Lodge.

Meals: Dinner and Breakfast
Activities: Free time relaxing at the hotel!
Day 9: Arusha –Kilimanjaro Airport
Departure day! You will be transferred back to the airport for your international flight or for any other further destination.
